TONEFEST!

This weekend we are lucky enough to cover all of the sound for beautiful little festival near wareham called TONEFEST!

Band and artists at this event are such as NIZLOPI, PRONGHORN, BOOTLEG BLONDIE, Pluse tonnes of pretty cool festival acts, every single one I'll be happy to invite home for tea and biscuits. Such positive vibes and a relaxed atmostphere make this festival one of my favourites. Trust me I've done a few...

We'll also be using our NEXO gear on both the stages and our famous* line array system delivering beautiful audio clarity which one would struggle to find else where. Also our operators , we only use the best, will have our SOUNDCRAFT SI COMPACT desks to use.

Our lighting designer/operator for the festival is JORDON COOPER who we can't recomend highly enough. We have black out tents which will mean that lights can be use throughout the day.

Unfortunately, for those of you without tickets, the festival has sold out. But if you're reading this and you're going to be there come over to the main stage and say 'HI' to the sound crew. They might even give you a free coffee if you mention the blog ;)

Three Festival Weekend!

So this weekend I will be attempting to manage not one, not two but a three festival weekend! That means I'm providing systems and/or engineering all weekend long. My weekend kicks off with Wonky Donk in Lytchett Matravers, followed by Slades Farm Festival and finally Grooves on the Green in Ashley Cross.

The Wonky Donk Festival in Lytchett Matravers returns for it's second year this year after it’s very sucessful debut last summer. This year its bigger, better and longer. The festival is situated on a retired donkey farm in Halls Road, Lytchett Matravers in Poole. You can see loads of really great bands including... The Bonsai Pirates, The Admiral ShineysidesThe Jack Ratts and Milk Machine.

Slades Farm Festival is a community event with heaps going on! It's going to be an interesting mix of music, sports and entertainment. There should be some quaility music happening over the weekend. If you get chance you should check out Brothers Grimmer!

Grooves On The Green is going to be a cracker this year! For those of you that don't know where it is it's held in the grassy square over in Ashley Cross (Poole). I have worked at this event in previous years but I'm really looking forward to this years event especially working with The Agency, PronghornDisco's Out (Murder's In) and Mutant Vinyl.

It's going to be a crazy weekend but it'll be worth it... further updates to follow :)

My Adventures at Blissfields Festival 2013

This is just a sample of my handy work from Blissfields Festival 2013. It was a pleasure engineering for both The Cramatics on the Thursday evening and the fantastic Disco's Out (Murder's In) on Friday afternoon. I really enjoyed working at Blissfields Festival it was my first year there, hopefully there will be more to come.

Blissfields and rock!

Blissfields was  incredible! Gutted that we couldn't stay longer. We operated front of house for The awesome Cramatics (who are definitely ones to watch) on Thursday and the incredible disco's out murders in. Festival with positive vibes and some of the best up and coming acts around.

I've had to leave festival bliss (see what I did there?) behind to head to Mr Kyps, in poole, for the heavy and best tribute to metallica, MENTALLICA. One extreme to the other but these guys always but on a good show. If you're into the heavier side of things these guys are a must!
